As you see, we are cleaning the internal walls of 150 foot diameter for water tank.
This is a knuckle rough type tank, which has a three foot radius between the wall and the roof.
We bought it three 8*3 inch flat bars to the forty five degree gazettes that support the knuckle radius.
Trolleys attached to the flat bars by shackles support an abeam that can be move forward as the work progresses around the tank.
A trolley drive system supports the machine hoist on the bottom rail of the twenty five foot long abeam.
The hoist pulls the machine up and lowers it down the wall, the machine, the hoist and the trolley drive are all operated from a wireless, handheld, remote control.
After the machine makes each pass, the operator moves the trolley drive ahead and lined the machine up for the next pass. When the operator gets to the end of the beam, the machine is lord to the ground. This takes the weight of the machine off the system and put some slack in the cables.
